Story - Riding around Rockford listening to my album and driving by all the houses we used to hit parties at … My nigga Sean used to live on Lori Dr. and as I turned on his street I started remembering the first time me and my him went out and kicked it all night … It was New Years Eve 2008, Sean had his Dad’s car for the night… his cousin had bought us a bottle some weeks back for his birthday but we never found shit to do so we held on to it for new years Eve … We hit like 3 parties and stayed out all night liquor, weed, bitches, and my nigga … got a taste of them Rockford streets and I loved it … that feeling … the next Friday I told my OG I was staying at my friends house to get a ride to basketball tryouts in the morning … she said cool … AND I WAS OUT HERE!!!!!!!!

Sean had the whip again … he scooped me and we was in them streets making moves again … weed, liquor, and bitches, this was the life … Looking back it seems like I chased the high of that first night for years … If you let it Rockford can be a nigga with potentials down fall … I would give up hours at work so i could start my night earlier … times we robbed wal-mart to get bottles, skip class to hit the mall and grab a fit … probably … hit the Southside and get faded up … damn near didn’t graduate because I was busy kicking it and not studying … Them Rockford streets was a niggas kryptonite

Creation - I always loved that Crusin track. My senior year in High School I broke my phone and my cousin Sady gave me her old on .. this was a ringtone on there … the beat always take me back to high school ran across the instrumental and threw that Rockford swag on it
